It is my job to ensure Carillion Piling grows and stays ahead of the competition, as a technically competent business. I focus both on what our customers need, and on our operations, so we will achieve sustained improvement from project to project.

My proudest career moment was completing the geotechnical works at Harrods in Knightsbridge, London. One visitor called it “…the most difficult geotechnical project currently being undertaken in Europe…”.

The project won three key industry awards including the American Deep Foundations Institute Outstanding Project Award that was presented at a conference in New York.

I am always looking to find new ways to deliver our service to clients with our specialist subcontractors through innovation and well-engineered design solutions.

The biggest challenge we face today is to develop a culture of safety within the construction industry that will be supported by all stakeholders.
